For those of us in the West Midlands there is little chance for a self help group, so if anyone fancies one and maybe could get someone to advise us, why not post here ?
Would like to speak to others as it does feel I am alone with this, my wife does not understand the condition

Me n Meggie were thinking of starting one at some point but we've not spoken much recently. Where in the West Mids are you. I'm in a dive called Bromsgrove not far from Rubery. Maybe we could find a venue n start one up.

I would love to meet up, obviously the closer to Herefordshire the better for me, LOL... Saturday would be the best day for me, as I really couldn't face a long journey after work on a weekday...

Evehsam doesn't sound too bad an idea and is easy to get to as Sherry points out. Anyone else do a Saturday?

Evesham or Worcester ? More places to meet in Worcester. Can't think of anywhere in particular in Evesham, but either work for me. Saturdays are good and now off on Easter Hols, so any Sat. Will be good to put faces to names

Great ;D
Ermmmm, how about Worcester - M5 Juction 6 there is a Travel Lodge with pub, called The Three Pears.Easy to find (famous last words !!). Plenty of parking (even when Worcs Warriors are playing at home).
They do food, so if hungry, we can have a nibble too.
Time.....12 midday, so hopefully we can get a table and late enough to avoid nasty traffic.
So..... Saturday 16th April Worcester M5 J6 Pub - The Three Pears 12 midday
I look forward to meeting you all. I'll be carrying a Financial Times.....to make me look intelyjent !! ;D ;D

I was assuming it was Worcester itself but if we're talking -shire then Malvern is good too... and I'm up for making a day of it - no point coming all that way and only staying a couple of hours, the activity should take longer than the travel time!

Ok, I was pondering public transport if it was in Worcester itself but I don't need to make that decision now M50/M5 is a nice easy drive for me By the way, anyone wanna lift-share?

If this becomes a regular thing we'll have to set you up a web page to announce meeting details etc.
I have to confess is often forget to check the boards (you know how it is) so pm me if there's something I should be doing,
Cheers,
Atticus

Worcester are playing at home to Brizzle that day - but kickoff is 15:00 so it shouldn't be to much of a conflict (except on the pitch )
