at the moment nothing but have doors open for me if the pills work or someone can come up with some cure for this that aint a load of crap to make them rich mates say i should go into pyscology but **** that it would just drive me nuts! example someone on here will mention some anxiety example " the G.P will think i'm a hyperchondraic" this wont happen unless the G.P is also a shrink! you need to hit the DSMV-iV-tr criteria! then folk law kicks in causes mass hysteria over basically an urban myth! or part of the story then others roll with it nobody does research if they do they will take a snippit of information! i don't need to see someone in real life to know they are a fool andy's aura's could be many things but then hysteria! he needs to see his G.P there is no bipolar 3 in this country. cyclothymia is a description word for mood cycles! rapid cycling is a discription word expressing the cycling kicks off more than 4 times a year! mixed mood/ ultraradion is a word/s to discribe a shift in mood daily! trust me ADHD internally is nothing like bipolar disorder! externally early onset of the condition may look like ADHD theres type 1 theres type 2 and bipolar nos all i see is the blind leading the blind! this is supposed to be about ADD/ADHD and helping each other out and looking out for one another not just having wars. steph we ain't all gone down the same paths in life, and there is one common thing that unites us. and that is ADHD. i could go back and get qualifications or learn a skill where i know i would have a job for life! it all depends on how well the pills can get me to focus and if they would cap my impulsiveness i'm 35 years old going on for 36 so it's all about time i've wasted 6 years in a sadistic game of NHS pinball suffered opprestion, had my human rights violated! witnessed others having the same! i'm not like woe me i was in a trap but tables turn! and i'm free and back on track just look forward i had epilepsy and i know the score with trial and failer pills and levels it is like kissing frogs it's scaring the shit out of me seeing folks on pills and attitudes towards stuff and feel that the pills would turn me into some pessamist/neurotic/psychotic lol

ok mate. well i hope you get some meds or answers that help you soon. i work with some pretty mental people and i usually cope, but i have to say i find you a little overwhelming. but that's my problem, so don't take it personally. i will as i do at work, do my best to support you and try to see it from your shoes. ok? but i can't say i will agree with you all the time. i need you to respect that too please. i would never make such a bold and unprofessional move to 'diagnose' anyone on here or anywhere else. but i do have the right to make an opinion of what i think it sounds like to me and to make suggestions to someone to look into it more and see if it's what they are experiencing. not to shout it down in 'facts' and give them no ultimatum to form their own opinions that may or may not be the same as mine. i applaud your tenacity. good luck with that.

oh and it's a well known opinion that most women are neurotic. you can't have that many hormones in one space and not have a bit of a nutter! so to have lots of women on here hey! damned if you do, damned if you don't i don't mind being mad as a bag of snakes though, keeps things interesting.

So, what your saying is that you have the perfect response to when someone says the healthcare has gone to the dogs in this (or any other) country. You could respond honestly that no it has come from the dogs.. Wonder what would be the response to that?

she did say she was in nursing care evvy this could range from a N/A within the NHS to working in one of them privet nursing homes you see on the telly where they give folks beats hmm she should have a good working knowledge on how to use harnesses, leads and muzzles as well. Plus she may have gotten lots of experience with given the beats, if she ever came across any cats like one I had.. Shee loved the beats and would claw at peoples legs until she was given her beats. beats= hard pats on tummy and sides.. very odd cat. But if you did it wrong she would let you know, by almost tearing your arm off along with what was left of your hand. or the horses, or the cats... i think vets go to school longer than doctors do too... heheh I know that is the case in many other countries, not sure about here.

yeah! i got a problem with meds someone told me they won't treat people with a history of epilepsy on XL bot i also have sleep apneoa so i was hoping i could bag the two conditions namely the adhd and apneoa on XL so the question really is will doctors make exemtions to the rule?

I imagine it would depend on your condition. Maybe neuropathic meds might be more helpful to you? Be sure you speak to someone that is a specialist, and possibly someone who has some experience with neuro-function. I know you are hesitant to use a 'green' doctor, for lack of wisdom, but generally some of the doctors fresh out of school are more up to date with their CPD and have more 'open minded' ideas about newer treatments. So try to keep that in mind, some times years of experience can actually hinder some doctors in trying new things. They may not be as familiar with the newer studies and drugs as some of the ones fresh out of first yr residencies. Do you use a CPAP for your apnea?

i don't know? i'm waiting on an appointment now to see someone who is qualifide in ADHD so who knows i may have been feed crap it could be this other person is still having seizures why he can only use IR? could be just on a personal level like the IR is in the system shorter where as the XL is in the system longer? i ain't found nothing set in stone and the bnf just say to use caution so i guess it depends on the doctor?
