They should take it into account and the JobCentre+ should have a permanent disability officer.
It should help with any appeal but their usual response is to say if anyone is not fit for JSA then they should apply for ESA.
I have done this and it was a bit of a nightmare waiting for it to go through.
As usual they hold all the aces - they play their rules and can spin things out to make it difficult - no skin off their noses.

Well that's already was intense. So glad I found it lol" helped the insomnia." Woke up at 4 o'clock this morning nothing to do so I started filling in Benefit forms for my children and myself.
I have chronic fatigue fibromyalgia fibromyalgia and arthritis life is very painful. My husband is my full-time carer and I currently receive standard rate care from Pip and high rate ESA as I'm in the support group; and I have been for years.
my oldest son has ADHD and generalized anxiety disorder and My youngest age 10 has major bowel issues and soils himself everyday and needs constant reassurance that germs are not going to harm him.
he is undergoing counselling and investigation as to whether he is autistic and may have ADHD as well.
I've never claimed for disability living allowance my children before as I never wanted to label them but I do and Mabel to cover their care needs and found myself looking on the Internet at stupid o'clock in the morning four examples of how to fill in forms that relate to my children's illnesses.
