We're all pawns in a very long winded game of chess.
So many times, I have done the big political critique? but I now see it's just all a load of big baloney sausage.
It will not change. It cannot change.
Divide and rule is a great tactic. Turn everyone against each other and create the divide via suspicion. Is your neighbour a peado, rapist, murderer, banker, etc etc. Create scare tactics left right and centre....keep them going.......
CAn you trust anyone to look after your kids? Can you trust neighbours to look after your house? CAn you trust police, ambulance other services?
Once all this suspicion is full blown, most adults will just lurk in their houses, whilst their free and carefree children do what they want.
I dont' think there is much future for children. - stick yourself - in varying poses and states of undress = on social sites, etc etc who's hottest competition lol. how many people fancy me etc, how many friends can I get on facebook oh yeah! Or the dating sites........"how many people can I get sending me messages. It's all just too much fun eh?
All that sort of thing.
After writing all of that , I still try to keep a sense of balance, but I can't and that's why I'm on here.......hehehehheehehehheeheheheheeheehe.
Politicians are guilty by action or inaction, both equally destructive.
Emigration is a bit of dream, I suppose. Once you move, you probably are not coming back so you had better be prepared to merge with the new society and never look back. To be honest though, I;m not sure if England is a country that I want to stay in. Then again, is there anywhere else that is going to be better in many ways, without a higher cost.
YOu have the USA don't know about that one. European countries in or not yet in EC....... Don't think it's good to stay in Europe.
Oh well anyway, I'm just going to stick my head in the sand and wait for world war 3.
Oh, well VENT over. do I feel better? a bit.

Okay, so I have been known on occasion, to type rather long posts. A "few" times now I have noticed members who have managed to lose their posts for various reasons. I suggested firefox + lazarus form saver plugin but hey.......that's too much like hard work right? I mean, if you can't drink a cup of tea next to you before the milk goes mouldy on top, then a 3 min job of "learning" something new is going to be a task. So, using sound theories for those who are still awake, I am recommending This clipboard manager program bluemars.org/clipx/ Size 108KB....nice and dinky. 1.0.3.8 beta (don't worry it's safe, been using for a month now) I just noticed the plugins lol, anyone would think I don't notice these things...... You know as much of the plugins quality as I do...... Tis very simple. Trust me, these days I like simplicity in programs. EDIT (might seem a bit silly to say this - but you will need to select the text and click copy.....the theory is that you will at least have "some" of your text...) You can configure as much as you want. You can choose up to 50 clipped texts and its easy to manage them. Any advice will be given, but I think there won't be too many problems. I have a poll so I can keep track....lol

Nick, for at least the next month, you need to lock up your finances to the people who you know will look after it for you.......... Keep yourself calm and try to stop being a twat because you and everyone reading your stories knows that you fit the profile. I know what I used to be like. Everyone has probably done the old scratchcards thinking they were going to win thousands. I used to buy about £100 of scratchcards or £100 lottery batches thinking I had a better chance of winning. TEchnically I did but from 1 in 13, 896, 213 down to 1 in 13, 896,113. Do you fancy those odds at any time? You will keep spending. Once your dopamine is fed a bit you will feel better. Also, try and stabilise your diet. MAke sure you eat at least properly and try not to flood your system with too much simple sugar. That stuff WILL send you on nasty cycles. Keep check of yourself and lock that money away NOW..........

I think all forms of dating have an element of risk. For every person that finds a good person, there are some who will be suffering from some nutcase or other. It may be only a small percentage, but the damage it causes is immense.
Also, the internet allows people to really cast their sights far and wide. Pre-internet dating sites you would have no choice but to physically meet the person, no e-delays of any type. Post internet dating with photos, you can "perve" all you like, look at all sorts of lovely people with lovely profiles - 5 miles, 50 miles, 500 miles, 5000 miles etc..
It sort of creates an unrealistic method. I mean if you can't manage with someone in your locale who is only a few miles away, why should it be any easier from 50 miles or more. It's all about positive attitude.
Also, the other problem with starting with internet dating is in some cases photos are blatantly not the person, which opens one up to a lot of grief. There are calls for sites like facebook, but particularly dating sites to have REAL, authenticated photos for positive safety etc.
I have a facebook account but for me, it's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It's pretty boring to read people's updates "omgroflmao I just saw a toothpick on the table" but then I've always been an intolerant, awkard git, so that's me lol.
On the other hand, you might be able to spend a good month or so fathoming someone out online, but sometimes its still not enough I suppose.
I put one novel like profile on a well established site, but I also summarised at the top basically don't bother when I read it lol. It all fits with the ADHD /emotional instability - it's just too much to think about.

You are talking to big kid no.1
I have always taken a casual approach to things until they blow up in my face. I never really learn.
It is strange because I've had unwanted, torturous thoughts for the last 17 years which definitely clamped on my joviality so if I did not have those thoughts I would perhaps have been even more silly....omgggggggg
Now I think about it, I've never really lived more than a day or perhaps a week ahead even though I have calculated some things for months ahead........this is because I don't really look forward to anything.
Anyway, "could be worse" I must remember that as I have options left to me..

I always wondered if working in a gadget shop would be good, after all the constant new items require some hyperfocus and you know what it's like to have a new burst of dopamine in your brain when you suddenly have energy to do things out of character...
Does that make sense or is gadget shop definitely a man thing?

Your thoughts are like most on here no doubt, whirlwind, chaotic, unhelpful and damaging to yourself. You are just going to be "obsessed" without any clear method of dealing with it.. Your quantum brain- will calculate all possibilities before they can even occur. What if this What if that goto 0 repeat run program error error It 's going to torture you if you let it. I think you need to find a monastery where they make er....vodka (very small bottles) and take a vow of silence, because until you get medicated, you will only hurt yourself and probably her, all totally without meaning to.... The emotional roller coaster ride. Once you get medicated, apparently, you will see things differently. Does that make any sense or have I entered fullyramblomatic mode? I mean, to the others' reading this, what is a correct amount of textage or communication per day for someone you care about or are a friend of blah blah? Also, being my very precise reading self, I missed the bit on line 6 about "her telling your friend that she really likes you" I can only imagine what she is thinking right now if not asleep. "omg, why doesn't jon text me much" All you need is two ADHD'ers and the world will blow up too often probably. If you are anything like me, you are all or nothing, 1 or 0, yes or no, black or white, either she is or she is not...... with a partial percent chance of a grey, compromising area. Good luck Jick.

No one understands depression unless they have it. No one understands ADHD unless they have it. No one understands internal turmoil unless they have it and even then it can't be fathomed into the exactly same level of torture. No understands overly sensitive stress responses unless they have them. It goes on with Anxiety disorders, social, schizophrenia, psychosis. etc etc.
An ill animal will usually hide itself as a defence measure. There is no real difference for humans. Someone may act happy but in fact may just be a shell of a person with minimal connection to society or the world.
Whether I truly have ADHD or not is still questionable but I seem to fit, but then that's what differential diagnoses etc are for.
In the USA Ritalin has been prescribed for about 50 years for Hyperkinetic disorder, the severe full symptoms of ADHD especially driven like a ferrari.
Maybe it should be Dopamine efficiency/impairment syndromer? With that, you can explain a lot of things in one list.
Anyway, just my 1 penny worth. __________________________
In agreement with Curioser who wrote...
Until the exact deficiency is rectified with the correct dose, the problem does not go away. I mean everything in the human body is dynamic and scales to the situational demand.
So, more effort requires more materials. Also, I don't believe that a 50 year old drug is able to directly target the whole issue therefore I do believe that in the future, a nearer optimum may be achieved with a smaller quantity of multiple complementary drugs.
The trouble is that human bodies are just very complicated. If you can treat the symptoms and the person thrives LIKE with thyroid issues or adrenal issues, great.
If it works, without too much side effect, why worry?
Ramble off/

How the hell can this actually be happening?
Is it not illegal to cause torture to people?
By withholding or not prescribing a drug that the person needs or functions better with, it is gross neglect. Sneakily shutting down a centre is just oh........
Can you imagine. "oh, you can't have your diabetes drug" or schizophrenia medication etc.
How wrong. .........................

I don't watch any of those shows, Ant and dec are just part of the telly furniture.
I only telly as a background noise, whilst relative is visiting, maybe twice per week.
Therefore TV only used for about 1-3 hours per week.
