When I did my test I did not put any suspected conditions in and I'm not DX'ed so just left it as no! So is this saying we all have aspergers, adhd or what?

KIWIHELEN, I have my own sofa, never mind a chair and it's MINE!!!! HAHAHA me too!!!!! on that i always thought it was just about pesonal space, cos i feel very uncomfotable with people too close to me. and actually sit on my living room coffee table if we have visitors and there is someone else on the sofa i agree with PD in that i dont think my answers would change medicated / unmedicated and i was gonna say something else, but its totally gone hopefully it'll come back later.....i really should shoot off to work anyway ;D

Phil,
Our fluffy boy Archie thinks he is a dog - wags his tail when spoken too...did you know all cats have aspergers? I read a book that told me that.
The thing about this test is it probably highlights the co-morbid nature of ASD and ADHD. Different petals, same flower. My dyspraxia is probably another petal.
Where the advantage comes is if dyspraxic people like me can learn self-management skills from ADHD people, and the ASD people can learn from the ADHD ones and so on...also I think that the more people who are aware of neurodiversity the better.
The world has been set up by a bunch of neurotypicals who think we should all think/act/do the same way and it is probably part of why we have all ended up with our struggles.
I was lucky with my family of origin that I was encouraged to try and find my own way to do stuff... rather than penalised for not being able to do it "the right way". It meant when I got into the education system and was told I was "lazy, stupid, careless" I already had some idea that I was competent, giving me a high level of resilience.
OTOH on days when my anxiety disorder decides to come out and party, I sometimes wonder why I bother. Having a really bad run of it this last couple of days - sucks big time. Hate, hate, hate it!
I think I will need to have a complete technology holiday for the bank holiday weekend. At least that prevents me from watching the royal wedding.

i did this online ASD test www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.htmlthe otherday and scored 31 so i was borderline! i did want to try it again as i was rushed and i wanted to post the results of the test the otherday! so i did the same test as the link today i scored 33 on the test so this indicates i do have autism lol whats weired is i believe that i answered the to tests in the same manner but obviously i havent I'm sure I took this test a while ago, but can't find any record of my score. However, I'm pretty sure I scored about 37, and I do remember that I was feeling rather pessimistic about my social skills that day. I just took it again, answering (I feel) a little more conservatively, and scored 39. And I could have sworn I took this test and posted it, but I just got the board to list all my (168) posts so far and it's not there... so here it is: Your Aspie score: 119 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 84 of 200 You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

I tried getting the maar to do this test she was NT but I watched her answer a few questions I think my mother is in total denial! So my sisters a nurse so when my brother gets off the PC I will send her the aspie link she will do the test and post me the link back My brother says he just does not care what is wrong with him He has a sever online gaming addiction and fucking acts like a kid when he can't get his fix! Proper mood swings when people on his VR team make mistakes calling them stupid fucking cunts lol He had a proper strop and sulking earlier as he was disturbed to have his tea! He has about 4 hours max sleep then spends the majority of his time on this on roll playing game where he plays a girl or a penguin in it He is also a compulsive liar he lies when there is no need to lie! And bringing me into his lies for no fucking reason! I lie but usually not to get others in the shit! He lies and makes up bull shit stories all the time! I tell it as it is when he lives in fantasy most of the time! Compulsive lying can be linked to ADHD, BIPOLAR, or a PERSONALITY DISORDER so that really helps ;D

Oh, how bloody typical. AS soon as I drag myself away from my compulsive post disorder, everyone starts doing the RDOS aspie quiz thingy. ;D I've seen some epic images of the test in the first 2 pages of this thread lol... amazing how is spreads around innit!! My result from sep 2010 Your Aspie score: 97 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 98 of 200 You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits Sort of weird that I have almost 50% in each...... nuff said! ________________________________ MAY 2011. I took about 30 minutes this time and was careful with each question. Lots of umming and ahhing of course. It's important to answer each question carefully and correctly. Your Aspie score: 92 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 111 of 200 You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Kinlaird,
You need to add an opening bracket to IMG at the start of your link.

I was going to do that planetdave, but its not my image and Kinlaird would not necessarily know how to fix his link problem, hence my instructions.

If it is all right with the board mods, I might dig out the email for the author and ping her an invite to come over and have a look at some of your guy's graphs. Lots of really interesting ones!

it would be interesting to see a 'real' NT result.
i mean, all of is here fall somewhere on the ND spectrum, formally or not is by the by......
and when i did the test, so much of it seemed like to think/feel any other way would be totally alien to me and i cant imagine what that must be like....
are there really peeps out there whos graphs are all on the NT side.... like.... really?? ;D
