Quite scary actually. Your Aspie score: 149 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 57 of 200 You are very likely an Aspie I think my major difference from Apies is I get on with people more easily and fit into social situations more eaisly. Ha doesnt mean I dont offend the life out them, only means I think its great haha.

I'm bumping this to see if we can get some more neurotypical partners in to do the tests and give us more definition between adhd'ers and "aspies"

Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre have created the Autism-Spectrum Quotient, or AQ, as a measure of the extent of autistic traits in adults. In the first major trial using the test, the average score in the control group was 16.4. Eighty percent of those diagnosed with autism or a related disorder scored 32 or higher. The test is not a means for making a diagnosis, however, and many who score above 32 and even meet the diagnostic criteria for mild autism or Asperger's report no difficulty functioning in their everyday lives. It's an old test these days, there are some other's on wrongplanet.net

Your Aspie score: 78 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 144 of 200 You are very likely neurotypical Only aspie trait is social, probably because my anxiety makes me so shy and sends my brain haywire. Did the wired quiz before, I think normal people get 16 and Asperger's/autism starts at 32. I was ranging from 21-24 depending on how I answered certain questions which I was 50/50 on.

Mizmog, that's the highest aspie score so far, but what did you get for the NT part of the score? I think its simply NT + Aspie =200 so 200-183 = 17.
What are your current diagnoses?

It was 182 not 183 - typo! it was 23 NT out of 200
Was diagnosed with combined ADHD and possible Aspie (they didn't focus on it)
Bit worrying really - especially as they don't want to focus on the Aspie for treatment, but he said it was because I scored so high on the ADHD test... making me wonder if I should just give up now and find a cave!

I got the same score as mizmog and I haven't ever thought I was aspie at all! I thought all that social stuff was just cos I'm naturally an antisocial hermit ! Thinking about it tho' my cousin and his child are both dx aspie and my daughter is "mild" .. and I've always thought my dad was a bit aspie-ish so I wonder why I never thought of it. Maybe cos I am just "me" .. thats the way I am and it doesnt bother me really. People like it or they don't? can't say being different has given me any mighty problems in my life - just accepted that's me and thats that!! RR

And sometimes you know, people do "mind" ... but you are right about the worrying .. LOL .. I do that I know .. sorry (oh yeh and sorry about the "sorry") ... perhaps I could just do a blanket apology now to cover me for anything I might do or say in the future that needs an apology??? ;D RR

Surely neurotypical here really just means not Aspie. They can't say anyone is NT because that would mean they tested on all NDs.
