Ok folks anyone out been to psychology?
I went on Tuesday she went over my history from age 0- 38 /present.
All my days at school how I got on, the amount of jobs I have been in & the issues in counted.
She then went on to run a battery of tests but she made no gesture or remarks of how I performed at attention & memory.
I'm for a brain scan next Friday. I'm sort of concerned what's gonna come about of all this.
I'm worried in case they say it's all anxiety but I know it's not. It will be interesting to see what happens. Cause I have never heard of anyone at all coming on here saying they have been sent for a brain scan.
Psychologist is also looking my school reports.
It's some game of marbles lol

Just of the phone to my mum.
Mum says that she had a positive meeting him, asked about me from;
Development years 0-3yrs
Then from 3-7years
Cause in 82 I was DX with mild cerbel paulsy (brain injury at birth)
Treatment, physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy.
Treated from 7 until I was 12.
From what I can gather from mum it went well.
Sending my reports to him next week. But she said he seemed to be happy to have meet her from what they talked about.
So going for brain scan Fri week. He said to mum he might send me for a EEG.
Well bring it on that's what I say.

Haven't spoken to mummy bear yet she went to the porridge shop after the hospital,  But thank you for asking! Was at patient's council to trying to see if I can get treated out of trust said it's hard to when there is the facilities in the trust to be treated I explained my struggle that the psychiatrist was hard work & he's eccentric, he could well have an opinion on Adhd, catch up with you all later thanks again, manson Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards |

Well my sweet mom is of to see my psychiatrist tomorrow.  Mum's armed with my school reports apparently some of them say I'm a pleasant pupil but I must concentrate harder lol Should be interesting Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards |

Love that word "norms"  they just don't get it do they? I had a mental health nurse one time telling me I was a "norm" ha lol If I was a "norm" I wouldn't be sitting in front of you. They are some enjoyment to work with Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards |

You are so close to the end just hang in there, you still have a right to be heard & a second opinion.
I would go to primary care team raise the issue they are actually creating anxiety for you which you don't need.

I have similar problems fella my wife's attitude is my hubby doesn't have issues & just needs to go back to full time work.
She works in a special needs school you would think that she would understand plus there's stigma with mental health which doesn't help. You can pm me any time.

For me it the fear of judgment someone one watching you and making suggestions that you didn't read or listen properly to what was going on. (even when they know I'm dyslexic)
When I'm at work it leads to a ticking of for not paying attention, investigation in to how the mistakes happen & how it could be avoided. (& they know well about my situation)
That's how it roles one simple mistake & everything on ravles then it's a simple role from one mistake to the next & a circle of anxiety don't sleep, dnt eat have sore muscles don't interact with anyone.
judgment like this has put me under pressure from I could work so that is how I have ended up with general & social anxiety disorders. From people casting their views of how much trouble I have made by not listening or paying attention.
That's why I think it's an attention problem cause I can read it's everything else impacting on my function to carry my job out.

She's looking to do attention tests trying to say that I have a selective attention, she also said that I'm not showing symptoms that warrant Adhd DX,
And said the other conditions are adding to attention problems dyslexia, dysprixia, & anxiety ah come on is it any wonder is was spent and washed out for a number of days.
It's ok for these ones sitting with their letters after their names sometimes I wonder do they realise how hard it is for us how difficult it is to be pretty much normal but,not. If I was I normal I wouldn't be sitting in front of here ha lol, rant over

I appreciate your kind comments , I just don't wanna face it. The last time I was there she pushing me hard the fight or flight was kicking in I was about to get up & walk  I had to phone one of the mental health support charity's during the evening I was that ajatated. Nice way to look at but I would prefer my safe good mood - & let my energy flow freely rather wallow in depression and pitty cause I don't have a mental health nurse for whenever I crash & burn.
