Without derailing, grandad always said you always got a argument at a wedding or a wake!!!
@plante Dave Think that's why I always got the piss took out of me when I was serving my apprenticeship for zoning out, not listening & throw some anxiety in for being the youngest and any wounder the wrong words would fall out of my mouth..

Ever find yourself in company and you come out with a innocent one liner at the wrong time & everybody rolls about laughing. Or Have been in a similar situation were you totally zone out but you get the tail end of the conversation & you blurt out a not so good response None of us mean any harm but sometimes it shows how venerable we are some people can really take advantage of us & take strips of us for amusement sake #notnice Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards

But with a low income, a price of a plane ticket rent a car/taxi maybe a night in a hotel it's just outta my reach.
Not the health service we desire.
It wouldn't be so bad If I were reimbursed by the NHS but it not happening.
All you guys that were tested private wouldn't you love to send them the bill.
I would love to send them the bill for my dyslexia test.

Yes cbt helped me but the biggest thing of all is being supported in the workplace environment.
We can live with are self's, are family's can tolerate us most times lol
But the biggest difference is support at work.
I know I rant all the time about. If you can get that part of your life settled honestly the rest gets easier
Why cause of the mistakes I made employees and employers made big issues out of it & the stress spins off into everything else. You will not eat right, sleep right end up being edgier, dnt wanna go out for fear of judgment it goes on it takes over everything!!!
Which is why I needed the cbt cause I started to believe that I was useless. Because someone at an early age at work had told me that.

Ok I have been here, I complained to the patient's council/pals about an issue.
I stated the facts just the way you probably did & i did sling some mud at them for poor service.
Their response was twisted to be my fault. I had to get consoled for it - gave me issues. (& offered me a meeting with the trust area manager /disability/mental health) .
So now I'm in the position were I'm looking a 2nd opinion. So contact patient's council explained what is going on, and they took it up(try speed things up)
I'm now left wondering what is going on. I have my Dr sending a form to refer me out of trust cause. As I felt that the psychiatrist who DX me in my trust was on fair in his judgment.
I was referred to her February 2013 she has been of on maternity.
(this is after I have been referred to this Dr, the sectary could've contacted my gp 11 months ago to request it but never bothered she waited ontil the patient's council contacted them)
It's mad if they were working for me there wouldn't be too many left in jobs.

I drank the tea and ate the biscuits & left my cv waited until the receptionist buggered off to file stuff & i bolted out the door feeling stressed & overwhelmed by the papper work.

I'm dreading Boxing day @the in-laws house. Planning in leaving an hour after I get fed is that unreasonable?
Wee girls that talk, fed on sugar & late nights dnt mix well with dad's who can't stand nose people talking crap talk about things that they don't understand.
Never mind in laws who dnt understand what an invisible disability is.
I personally work part time & i will be glad to go my wee job on Friday morning for the 4hrs just to have a break from them..
I love them all very much but I just find it difficult some times.
Tis the season to be jolly!

Yo petra babe's Sorry to hear about your strife, you should request a meeting with the trust area management and tell them that they are crap at their job!! Real & truly go round them all trust management then local MP then health Minster. I'm waiting on a phone call from the psychiatrist to arrange a meeting this 4 weeks. Phoned the patient's council Tuesday past said she would phone me back on Thursday but never happened. I'm starting to wonder has someone got something against me!! I get this 2nd opinion I see what the outcome is & if it goes against me all hell is going to be let loose. I'm pisst off big time. All fafin about and nothing getting done. Trust management, is next then my local MP, then health minister. Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards

Yes it does, you get a job on merit/experience.
I drive for lookers of Manchester (van driver) . When I went for my job on the application form it asked me was I disabled I said no.
But I got the job on my experience & never said that I had anxiety or dyslexia or Adhd inattention tendencies.
But the medical questionnaire asked was I dyslexic? had I any mental health issues? anxiety disorders etc was I on medication had a or was I in a medical investigation? & I said yes to all of the above.
This advice came from employment support. Who are an asset. Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards

Think you need to read my thread.
She has a disability. She needs a reasonable adjustment to her job.
She is entitled to work.
She has to work to stay on benefits.
Employers & employees need educated that we are not stupid, or lazy or dnt care, there is a medical condition that we have & they need to understand this.
Her manager needs pulled a side & told to lay off it & understand the more he annoys her the worse she will get.

I have said this many many many times before, you need to be supported in the work place by an agency who will be able provide disability awareness training for your employer and your colleagues.
Nothing is going to change at work until you address this issue. Cause people will tell you here it's not just Adhd, anxiety disorders and mental health that's why it’s classified as a disability.
Go to your local citizens advice or jobs and benefits centre and talk to the disability officer. To get supported in the work place. Mental health problems has the impact of wellbeing as any other conditions.
I'm on it I went 20 years of my working life with out the support. I'm glad to say I'm happy at work I love my job why? Cause there is someone has supported me getting my job arranged to suit me!!
And I know when the chips are down there's someone there at the end of the phone that I can share with. If its work related she will be on the ball right away to my boss to see that I'm being treated fairly suggest a out come..
Take the anxiety out of work life gets better. Believe me it's the only way. Yeah sure home life is stressing as well but if work is happy its one less thing..
I'm still waiting on my second DX for Adhd this year but I have some to talk to who keeps me on track who helps me get the best out of each appointment should be with a Dr or even work. That's the point of being supported.
Now then if the psychiatrist phones me today to arrange appointment I will be a happy chap!! ;D
